K-Bud Adventures began as a way to honor our son’s adventurous spirit and keep his light shining through storytelling. What started as one story, we pray, becomes something more — a growing series built on courage, family, faith, and the magic found in everyday moments.
This first book carries a piece of our family’s heart. It is a tribute to bravery, sibling bonds, and the quiet strength found in love.
Through laughter, challenge, and imagination, we hope this story reminds children everywhere that brave hearts come in every size.

About the Authors
Steven and Rocquita Clement are Louisiana natives who believe that storytelling is one of the most powerful ways to keep love alive. Inspired by their children and their deep Cajun roots, they began writing together to create meaningful stories centered on family, courage, and faith. K-Bud and Princess in The Great Good Friday Escape is their first children’s book and the beginning of a series honoring the adventurous spirit of their son, Khayden “K-Bud.” Through their books, Steven and Rocquita hope to share warmth, laughter, and heartfelt lessons with families everywhere. They currently live in Texas, where they continue writing stories inspired by love, legacy, and the magic of the bayou.
